Pratik Sarkar, Founder of Obsidus Labs

Founder & Director

Pratik Sarkar is the Founder of Obsidus Labs. He established the firm to help organizations translate complex security and product requirements into deployable cryptographic protocols backed by rigorous analysis. Before founding Obsidus Labs, he was a Research Scientist at Supra Research, where he developed blockchain-native cryptographic protocols, and held research positions on the cryptography teams at Visa Research and Meta Statistics and Privacy.

Pratik received his Ph.D. in Cryptography from Boston University under Prof. Ran Canetti and a Masters in Cryptography from IISc Bangalore under Prof. Arpita Patra. His work centers on secure multiparty computation, zero-knowledge proofs, and privacy-preserving protocols for systems that must remain secure under real-world deployment constraints.
